the things and me

this is part of the story i ammmm making. its about this boy who has the ability to see the ghosts of everything around him.
fences and trees and streetlights and nothing is still or motionless. everything is alive! everything is furious..

its going slowly but hopefully it will be a book soon.

even a man who is pure in heart..

it has been ages hasn't it? truthfully i havent been drawing a great deal..ive been engrossed in my books and my travels. but im back home now and drawing again andd making music. id like to finish an acoustic album soon..maybe ill make a series of youtube videos playing them. i made this drawing of werewolves above as soon as i got back. not my usual style but ho hum. does anyone even read my blog anymore¿
saw radiohead on sunday [at reading festival].. maybe thats what inspired me heh. it was the best time ive ever seen them! just amazing. i think i've seen them about 7 or 8 times.
i made food yesterday from the crops in my garden.. look how tiny they all are!

soo im working [hardish] on my illustrated book that was sspose to be for children but may be a bit too weird for tiny ones.

there are some things i just have to make public so that i dont forget them.. and because all my new work will probably feed off these beliefs.


i believe - that our greed & over-consumption is the primary cause of most of the worlds conflicts, divisions, poverty and environmental crises.

- that the diminishment of 'magic' in our personal lives, which i equate to mystery, enchantment, romance and sacredness [and all its offshoots] is the reason for our spiritual crisis.

- that as long as there are systems in power which act as an autonomous programme and not as individual humans [large corporations/political systems/media] then change won't come from the top, incensed with growth and order.. it'll come from the bottom, galvanized by love and laughter.
or the very very top .. [comet?? ALIENS?! :O ]

- that our heart is eternal and divine and we have the potential to scar it with our actions.

- that we should see the funny side of everything.

- that there are dragons and yetis! and that everything i draw is alive!

- that i am not crazy.
